Albany Okinawan Karate School

Kellman's Okinawan Karate school was started in October 2008.

Sensei Kellman has studied and taught under Master John Izzo since 1975. The style is mostly Uechiryu with a number of kenpo moves. We also teach three weapons: bo, tonfa, and kendo sticks.

Contact us via email or phone for more information, or you can visit our new okinawan karate school in Scotia, NY.

You can also visit our instruction blog if you'd like to read more about some of the techniques we teach our students. While your browsing the blog, watch a couple of our training video clips where Sensei Kellman personally demonstrates specific techniques.

Testimonials

I've been a student at Kellman's Okinawan Karate since the doors first opened. I enjoy that there are 3 instructors and that each give their own interpretation on the material to be learned. They always help you work around your weaknesses and help you to capitalize on your strengths. I recommend...
